Masaé Gimbayashi

Commence le piano à l’âge de 5 ans à Tokyo. Après avoir obtenu sa Maîtrise ès sciences humaines (Bachelor of Arts degree, spécialisée de la litterature française) à l’International Christian University au Japon, dont elle est pianiste de l’orchestre de jazz. A Paris elle entre dans la classe de Serge Peitigirard puis Victoria Melki à l’Ecole Normale de Paris/Alfred Cortot, obtient le Diplôme d’Enseignement de Piano, 1er nommé à l’unanimité avec les félicitations du jury.

Lauréate du Concours Madeleine de Valmalète à l’unanimité avec les félicitations du jury, du prix belge de l’Académie Européenne des Arts, du prix d’Excellence de l’Asia Classical Music Concert (Japon)

Masaé Gimbayashi-Barbotte se produit tant en soliste, qu’en musique de chambre en France, au Japon, en Belgique, aux Etats-Unis...

Masaé Gimbayashi began playing the piano at the age of 5 in Tokyo. After obtaining her Master of Arts degree (Bachelor of Arts degree, specializing in French literature) at the International Christian University in Japan, where she is pianist of the jazz orchestra. In Paris she entered the class of Serge Petitgirard and then Victoria Melki at the Ecole Normale de Paris/Alfred Cortot, obtaining the Diplôme d'Enseignement de Piano, 1st appointed unanimously with the congratulations of the jury.

Winner of the Madeleine de Valmalète Competition unanimously with the congratulations of the jury, of the Belgian prize of the European Academy of Arts, of the Excellence prize of the Asia Classical Music Concert (Japan).
Masaé Gimbayashi-Barbotte has performed both as a soloist and in chamber music in France, Japan, Belgium, the United States...
